[No.8222/F.No.299/20/89-II (Inv.III), dated 1.3.1989
issued earlier in so far as those pertained to the
appointment of competent authorities, except in respect of
things done or omitted to be done before such super
sessions, the Central Government hereby designates
the authority specified in column 2 of the Table below
(being officers not below the rank of Joint Secretary to
the Government) to perform the functions of the competent
authority under the said Act and directs that the said
authorities shall perform the functions in respect of the
persons specified in the corresponding entries in column 3
thereof. |
